Description
A spectacular trek in the heart of the Val d’Ayas, amidst glacial moraines, alpine lakes and incredible views of Monte Rosa. Together with the Guidders, we’ll set off from Champoluc, in the hamlet of Saint-Jacques, following the path that climbs up the stunning Valle di Verra through woods, streams and vast alpine meadows. We will cross Pian di Verra Inferiore and Superiore, with views of the famous Lago Blu and the glaciers of the Monte Rosa massif, until we reach the Mezzalama Refuge, suspended in a truly unique high-mountain setting. The final part of the trek crosses glacial moraines and stony terrain typical of the alpine environment, offering increasingly spectacular views as we gain altitude. A night in the refuge, immersed in the magic of Monte Rosa, will make this experience truly unforgettable.
