2-Day Trek to Rifugio Nuvolau: among the Cinque Torri, Averau, and the Dolomites’ most iconic views

A spectacular trek in the heart of the Ampezzo Dolomites, taking in historic mountain huts, Dolomite peaks and incredible views of the Alps’ most iconic mountains. Accompanied by the Guidders, we’ll set off from Passo Giau on a magnificent circular route that crosses the Cinque Torri area until we reach the famous Rifugio Nuvolau, the oldest mountain hut in the Dolomites. We’ll walk through scree slopes, scenic trails and lunar landscapes, passing by the Cinque Torri mountain hut and the Scoiattoli mountain hut, immersed in one of the most beautiful settings in the UNESCO Dolomites. After spending the night in the mountain hut, we’ll return via Forcella Averau and the Averau mountain hut, bringing to a close a scenic and authentic trek amidst the great Dolomite walls and endless views.
