"A scenic loop hike around Monte Guglielmo and its charming mountain huts."

Mount Guglielmo (or Gölem) is the most well-known and frequented mountain by the people of Brescia, with the Christ the Redeemer statue and its small church, a visit to which leaves everyone breathless. Many paths allow you to reach the summit of the mountain, but this loop is the most scenic. The itinerary starts from the San Zeno hill, at the Piardi Refuge, and we will follow a comfortable mule track for most of our journey. During the first part of the path, we will pass by the Foppella Farmhouse, Pontogna Mountain Pasture, and Stalletti Alti Mountain Pasture. After arriving at the Redeemer, one of the panoramic points of Guglielmo, we will continue and encounter the typical Almici Refuge where we can take a short break. Continuing on the path, we will arrive at Punta Caravina, a panoramic point where our descent will then begin. We will also pass near the Medelèt Refuge, and from there, we can approach the Foppella Mountain Pasture again, where we can close our loop.
