Description
I will take you to discover one of the most beautiful balconies overlooking the lake and the plains, on a loop hike that combines nature, history, and stunning panoramas.
We will depart in the afternoon from Galbiate, passing through rural areas until we reach the small hamlet of Camporeso, a village that still preserves the atmosphere of life from times gone by.
Here, we will make a special stop at the ethnographic museum to connect with the traditions and the past of the local communities.
We will then resume our journey, climbing towards the Campi di Barra, through woods and clearings that tell an ancient story.
Along the way, we will pass by the hermitage, a scenic and evocative spot that is perfect for views of the surrounding Brianza lakes.
The final ascent will take us to the summit of Monte Barro, where the view opens up 360°: from the Brianza lakes to the plains, with the mountains framing the landscape.
Here, as the light begins to change towards sunset, we will have a convivial moment to share an aperitif.
We will return to the hermitage and then to the starting point via a loop trail.
A ride from Lecco station will be offered, and carpooling support will be provided based on your departure location.

Luca
Nature, safety, and a whole lot of enthusiasm for sharing! Hi there! I'm Luca, and I've always been passionate about nature – lucky enough to live right next to it every day. My professional background has been focused on safety and the environment for years, but I felt the need to combine my skills and passion into something even more engaging… and that's how my adventure as an AIGAE Environmental Hiking Guide began. Today, I lead groups to discover the wonders of nature, with a special focus on sustainability, well-being, and team spirit. I believe in hiking that's good for the body, good for the mind… and that creates new connections! Let's have fun together and learn to observe the world around us with fresh eyes! 😊
