Albani Mountain Hut Trek: a scenic hike beneath the majestic north face of the Presolana
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate
Description
One of the most spectacular treks in the Bergamo Orobie, at the foot of the majestic North Face of Presolana, known as the "Queen of the Orobie." With the Guidders, we will set off along a mountain trail that crosses woods, pastures, and scree slopes, until reaching Rifugio Albani (1,939 m), one of the most beautiful panoramic viewpoints in the area. During the ascent, we will be accompanied by the imposing view of the limestone walls of Presolana, while the route alternates between smooth sections and steeper, rockier ones, with no particular technical difficulties but an elevation gain that requires a good level of fitness. A perfect hike for those who want to experience authentic mountain life among breathtaking views and alpine refuges.

Federica
Hey Guiders! 🧡 I was born in Milan in '85, but my heart belongs to the mountains of the Bergamo Prealps, where Mount Presolana fueled my passion for the great outdoors. After a few years as a copywriter, I decided to change direction and follow what truly felt like home: the trails. In 2020, I qualified as a Mountain Leader and chose to live closer to nature. I love guiding people to discover the breathtaking views, peaceful silences, and wonders of the mountains, sharing every step of the way with the Guidders community. 🥾⛰️
