The excursion begins from Alpe Rebelle along a path that gently winds through larches and pines, offering evocative views over Valpelline. We will pass near small rural buildings and open panoramas that invite you to stop for a photo or simply breathe deeply. Little by little, the forest opens up and gives way to wide snowy expanses and high-altitude pastures: the heart of the alpine pasture is drawing near. After crossing a small bridge near the charming Baita della Libertà, Alpe Berrier welcomes us with its sunny position and authentic charm. Here, the main protagonists will be the alpine farmers: they will guide us on a journey into the world of mountain Fontina production, telling us the secrets of milk processing, from milking to the aged product. We will experience firsthand the daily work on the alpine pasture and taste real Fontina, accompanied by other typical local products.
