From Macugnaga, the path climbs through the valley of the Anza stream, passing by roaring waterfalls and scenic bridges, until it reaches the evocative natural amphitheater where the Zamboni Zappa Refuge stands, at an altitude of 2,070 meters. Here, among marmots, eagles, and high-altitude flowers, you can enjoy a lunch with a breathtaking view of the spectacular Belvedere glacier, resting on the imposing slopes of Monte Rosa.
