Autumn Hues in the Aosta Valley
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate
Description
Among overhanging rocks, grazing cows, mountain huts and multicolored trees that frame the valley and descend to the foot of the mountains, we will enjoy the warm autumn atmosphere that emanates up to Lake Place Moulin at 2000 meters above sea level with reflections more suggestive than ever.
We will relax among incredible views between the golden hues of the larches and the turquoise color of the lake's waters.
Then we will discover a precious witness of this unspoiled valley, a 520-year-old secular larch that grows within a forest of ancient trees and stands out for its majesty.
Finally, we will reach the Prarayer refuge mountain pasture, where we will have lunch and admire an incredible view of the entire Place Moulin Lake.

🌿 I love hiking, discovering, and sharing the stories of nature, one step at a time. I live near Varese, nestled between lakes and forests, and I'm a certified AIGAE Hiking Guide. I lead adventurers like you on explorations of authentic trails, from my local area to the hidden corners of Valle d'Aosta, far from the crowds and close to the true spirit of the mountains. For me, every outing is more than just a trek: it's a chance to breathe, observe, listen, and forge a genuine connection with the landscapes we traverse. And in the end, we don't just take home kilometers… but emotions and lasting memories. 🎒 Ready to slow down and see nature with fresh eyes?
