Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate Plus
Description
A two-day trek in the heart of the Brescian Rhaetian Alps with the Guidders, through the wild Val Paghera, the magnificent Lake Aviolo, and the spectacular high-mountain views. We will hike along a trail immersed in the woods, accompanied by the sound of streams and waterfalls, until we reach Lake Aviolo, nestled among granite walls and alpine pastures. From here, we will continue to the Valerio Festa Bivouac, where we will spend the night surrounded by the silence of the high altitude. On the second day, we will cross the scenic Passo delle Plate and stop at the Sandro Occhi al Lago Aviolo Refuge before descending back to the valley on a circular route. A E/EE hike with a good elevation gain and distance, ideal for those seeking an authentic experience among lake, bivouac, mountain refuge, and high-altitude trails.
