Baita Alta on Mount Zulino: A Spring Trek with Stunning Views in Valsanguigno

With the arrival of spring, Valsanguigno, one of the most authentic valleys in the Bergamo Orobie, completely changes its appearance. The snow gives way to the first green meadows, the woods are filled with light again, and the stream that runs through the valley flows more vibrantly than ever thanks to the meltwater.

The Guidders know it: this is one of the best times to experience a spring trek immersed in nature, when the mountain slowly awakens after winter.

Our path follows the valley floor accompanied by the sound of the crystal-clear water flowing between rocks and small waterfalls. The route crosses cool woods and clearings where spring is beginning to make its presence felt with the first colors and scents of the undergrowth.

As we ascend, the panorama opens up more and more onto the valley and the surrounding mountains of the Orobie. The meadows turn green again, the highest peaks still retain some traces of snow, and the mountain air becomes incredibly clear.

The destination of our excursion is the Baita Alta del Monte Zulino (1747 m), a splendid natural balcony overlooking Valsanguigno, perfect for stopping to breathe in the silence of the mountain and enjoy a panorama that has a very special charm in spring.

Here we will take time for a break and lunch, surrounded by the awakening nature and the beauty of a valley that is still authentic.
