Credits are a virtual balance you can use to book Guiddy excursions and experiences. Each excursion has a value in credits, and at the time of booking, you can choose whether to use them to fully or partially cover the cost of the excursion. The amount is automatically deducted from your balance. Convenient, flexible, and smart!

What are credits and how do they work?

You can earn credits in the following ways:
• By converting points earned from excursions. With Guiddy’s loyalty program, you earn 10 fixed points for each outing + 1 point for every 100 meters of positive elevation gain. Once you reach a minimum of 200 points, you can convert them into €20 of credit to use for your next outdoor experiences;
• In case of excursion cancellation or withdrawal within the allowed terms, you’ll receive a refund in credits that you can immediately spend on a new adventure.
With Guiddy, the more you walk, the more you save! Walk, earn, and reward yourself.

How do I earn credits?

Yes, credits are valid for 6 months from the date they are issued. But don’t worry: we’ll notify you in advance before they expire so you can make the most of them.
 Use them at your own pace and without stress!

Absolutely! Every week we publish new excursions across Italy, designed for all tastes and levels: mountains, trekking, via ferrata, climbing, cycling, tastings, and much more.

Are new excursions added regularly?

Each excursion has a detailed info sheet with all the information: description, stops, estimated times, difficulty level, duration, elevation gain, max altitude, recommended equipment, and useful tips to prepare properly.

Today's adventure will take us to the Aosta Valley, specifically to the Lys Valley. We will walk a portion of the long and ancient procession that the local villagers still make today to reach the sanctuary of the Madonna di Oropa, starting from Fontainemore. We will depart from Pian Coumarial and reach one of the most interesting refuges in the Valley, the Barma Refuge. We are in the heart of the Mont Mars reserve, where the modern structure of the Barma blends with the truly breathtaking landscape. Here we will stop for lunch to enjoy the special dishes carefully prepared by the guys at the Refuge.

P.S. I kindly ask you to book as soon as possible so that I can reserve lunch at the refuge.

L’avventura di oggi ci porterà in Valle d’Vosta, precisamente nella Valle del Lys. Percorreremo una porzione della lunga e antica processione che i valligiani locali fanno ancora oggi per raggiungere il santuario della Madonna di Oropa, partendo da Fontainemore. Noi partiremo da Pian Coumarial e raggiungeremo uno dei più interessanti rifugi della Valle, il Rifugio Barma. Siamo nel cuore della riserva del Mont Mars, dove la struttura moderna del Barma, si fonde con il paesaggio che qui toglie davvero il respiro. Qui ci fermeremo a pranzare per gustare i piatti speciali preparati con cura dai ragazzi del Rifugio.
