Description
Bellino d’Incanto is a cultural and scenic trek in the upper Valle Varaita, in one of the most discreet and authentic places in the Piedmontese Alps. Here, among clear mountains and profound silences, lies the Bellino valley, known as the famous Village of Sundials: over thirty restored sundials, some dating back to the eighteenth century, others to the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, painted on the facades of houses, chapels and ancient barns. A rare gnomonic heritage, which tells the story of Alpine life and popular ingenuity through light. The route invites you to walk calmly, letting yourself be guided by the landscape and the details: we will start from the heart of Borgata Chiesa to reach Borgata Sant'Anna, crossing stone villages, silent alleys, Occitan architecture, ancient frescoes and glimpses that broaden the breath. It is a perfect excursion for Guidders who love
