The climb to Cornizzolo from Civate is one of those hikes that stays with you: a trek that blends nature, history, and sweeping views over the Brianza lakes. Together with the Guidders, we will start from the center of Civate (LC), crossing forest trails that climb at a steady pace toward one of Lombardy's most fascinating places: the ancient Abbey of San Pietro al Monte, a Romanesque jewel nestled in the silence of the mountains. After a well-deserved break, the path continues through woods and summit meadows, with some steeper sections and stepped terrain that require a minimum level of fitness. The effort is rewarded by the summit of Cornizzolo and its open panorama of Lake Como, the Resegone, and the Grigne: an authentic excursion, perfect for those who love sharing the mountains with a great community.

The mountains have always been one of my greatest passions. I’m a CSEN-certified trekking instructor, a member of the Italian Alpine Club, and whenever I can, I lace up my hiking boots to explore trails, peaks, and new breathtaking views. I love experiencing nature in a mindful and respectful way, and I believe that every hike is much more than just a walk: it’s a chance to feel good, share эмоotions, and build new connections. Beyond the outdoor world, I’m also an ENCI-certified dog trainer and a Red Cross volunteer, where I’m currently completing my training to become an emergency medical responder. These different experiences have taught me the importance of listening, responsibility, and caring for others.
