Biandino Valley to Artavaggio Valley Traverse

Three days of authentic mountain adventure in the heart of the Orobie Lecchesi, crossing some of Lombardy’s most spectacular valleys. A hut-to-hut trek linking Val Biandino, Pizzo dei Tre Signori (2,554 m), Piani di Bobbio and Piani di Artavaggio, with overnight stays in two iconic mountain huts and an experience that combines nature, breathtaking views and team spirit.

This route is designed for Guidders who want to fully immerse themselves in the mountains, alternating panoramic trails, wilder sections and high-altitude ridgelines. On the first day, we will climb the enchanting Val Biandino to Rifugio F.A.L.C., one of the most charming huts in the Orobie. On the second day, we will set off before dawn to reach Pizzo dei Tre Signori, with a special stop at Bocchetta di Piazzocco where, if the sky is clear, we will witness the evocative partial lunar eclipse of 28 August: a rare moment that will make this adventure even more special.

The final day will take us through the spectacular alpine landscapes of Piani di Bobbio and Piani di Artavaggio, passing along the Bergamo side of Zuccone Campelli, among pastures, limestone spires and sweeping views stretching from the Grigne to the Rhaetian Alps.
