An extraordinary trek in the heart of the Bergamasque Orobie, in the presence of the majestic Presolana, known as the Queen of the Orobie.
This circular route is a true journey through the most spectacular limestone landscape in Lombardy: a succession of alpine forests, scree slopes, Dolomite walls and unique rocky environments.
Starting from the Passo della Presolana, the path crosses coniferous forests until reaching the panoramic Baita Cassinelli, one of the most evocative points of the entire massif.
From here, the landscape changes completely: the vegetation gives way to an almost lunar environment made of limestone rocks and scree slopes, while the south face of the Presolana dominates the scene with all its grandeur.
We will continue to the Bivacco Città di Clusone, a small alpine outpost nestled among the rocks, and then reach one of the most iconic places in the group: the spectacular Grotta dei Pagani, an enormous natural amphitheater carved into the rock.
Here we will come face to face with the Presolana, surrounded by one of the most evocative landscapes in all of the Orobie.
