Perched in the glacial area above Alpe Visogno, at the foot of Cima di Malvedello, the Bottani-Cornaggia Bivouac is a true natural balcony overlooking Valtellina.
The ascent, steady and determined through the woods, leads up to Alpe Visogno, where the panorama suddenly opens up: Monte Legnone, Val Gerola, Val Tartano, the Orobie mountain range and, on clear days, the Adamello massif.
From the plateau, you reach the bivouac, a support point for fascinating crossings towards Valle dei Ratti and Val Masino.
A challenging but always hiking-friendly trek, perfect for those looking for tough climbs, immense panoramas and authentic corners away from the beaten path.
