Casimiro Ferrari Trail: a hiking loop at Piani Resinelli, at the foot of the Grignetta

Description
A loop between forest and rock, with Grignetta watching over you up close all day long.
We set off with the Guidders from Abbadia Lariana and climb towards Piani Resinelli, where you can already feel the air of true mountain terrain. The route is a loop that alternates stretches through the woods with steep ups and downs, including a few sharp climbs that keep the day lively and never monotonous. We cross the Pian dei Resinelli area, a historic base camp for those heading up the Grigna's routes, and continue as the mountain changes face step by step, closing the loop amid ridges and open views.
The refuge is named after Casimiro Ferrari, a mountaineer from Lecco who fell in love with the mountains here (and with Serena Giudici, his future wife): from these rocks he set off on expeditions as far as Patagonia and Peru.
