Together with the Guidders, we will explore the evocative Cava d’Ispica, a unique natural canyon where humans and nature have coexisted for thousands of years. We will start from the New Town of Ispica, amidst squares and Baroque architecture born after the devastating earthquake of 1693, and then reach Parco Forza, an ancient fortified citadel that preserves medieval remains, rock churches, and ancient fortifications. Finally, we will descend into the heart of the canyon, traversing paths carved into the rock amidst late Roman hypogea, prehistoric caves, and incredibly suggestive natural environments. A simple walk, yet rich in history, perfect for those who love to discover authentic and timeless places.
