Description
A high-altitude hike through breathtaking landscapes and mountain silence. From the Alpe Gera Dam square, the trail runs along the lake to Alpe Gembrè, a small corner of paradise nestled among pastures and streams.
From here, ascend the Val Confinale, through meadows and stony ground, to the Anghileri-Rusconi Bivouac, at the foot of the Confinale Pass, where your gaze embraces the glaciers and border peaks. The last stretch leads to Cima Fontana, a spectacular balcony overlooking Monte Disgrazia, Pizzo Palù and Pizzo Scalino.
A challenging route but without technical difficulties, perfect for experienced hikers in search of authenticity, magnificent panoramas and the true mountain experience.
