Description
This spectacular circular route will lead you to the discovery of the Cinque Torri (Five Towers) of Cortina d'Ampezzo, through a breathtaking itinerary in the heart of the Dolomites. The excursion touches some of the most iconic mountain huts in the area, such as Averau and Nuvolau, offering unforgettable, almost lunar panoramas. The starting point is the famous Giau Pass, framed by the imposing Ragusela.
The trail, of moderate difficulty, alternates between climbs and descents that offer unique views of the surrounding peaks from ever-new perspectives. There will be regenerating stops in the characteristic mountain huts along the way, perfect for a refreshing break or a snack with a view. During photo breaks, with a bit of luck, you might even spot some cute marmots!
