Corna Blacca: a challenging hike along the Brescia ridge
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate
Description
A trek that climbs from the Brescia Prealps to Corna Blacca, following forest trails, high mountain pastures, and ridge sections with sweeping views over the province of Brescia and across Lombardy. With the Guidders, you’ll set off from 920 m and reach the 2,006 m summit, passing near Malga Closura, Cascina Corna Blacca Alta, and Passo di Paio: a solid, demanding, and deeply rewarding hike. The route is long but varied; higher up, expect steep gradients, uneven terrain, and exposed T3 sections that require sure footing. 5 reasons to join - a full ascent that’s never ordinary - wide-open summit views - a varied trail through forest and along the ridge - the authentic atmosphere of the alpine huts - a shared group experience with the Guidders This hike is truly special because, in just a few kilometres, it brings together valley, alpine pastures, mountain pass, and summit, with an airy, rocky finale that delivers a real high-mountain feel.
