Corna Piana Loop: the Vipers Trail to Fosce in Monte Baldo's Fall Colors

Description
A rocky castle, WWI trenches and a forest on fire with autumn colors. It's called the Vipers Trail and it's nothing to worry about.
We start with the Guidders from San Valentino, between Brentonico and the Monte Baldo Nature Reserve, and dive straight into the best part: the rocky castle of Crone di Bès, with a few metal cables guiding you through short, scenic passages — no via ferrata gear needed. We climb on toward Corna Piana, the highest point of the loop at 1736 meters, where WWI trenches and gun positions still sit among the rocks. The loop continues through Malga Bès and the meadows of Fosce, with autumn woods glowing in warm golden light at every turn. Along the way we pass Rifugio Baita Fos-ce, at 1430 meters, a small SAT shelter reborn from an old mountain hut.
