An unforgettable trek among the rocks and light of Lake Iseo. Corna Trentapassi (1248 m) dominates the lake with its sharp and wild shape, a natural balcony among the most spectacular of the Brescia Prealps.
From Vello di Marone, a small village overlooking the water, the path climbs decisively through pastures and rocks, offering increasingly wider views as you ascend. The effort soon gives way to amazement: the gaze sweeps from the blue of the lake to the peaks of the Val Camonica, in a continuous play of light and contrasts.
The summit of Trentapassi, although modest in height, offers emotions of a great mountain: a breathtaking view of Sebino and its villages, made even more spectacular by the sparse vegetation cover on the southern slope.
And for those who love curiosities, the name “Trentapassi” has nothing to do with the steps to count: it derives from the Brescia dialect Trè Tapàs, which means “three spurs”, referring to the three characteristic rocky peaks that make this summit unique.
