Corna Trentapassi: Your Panoramic Balcony Overlooking Lake Iseo

This simple walk will take us to a "balcony" that allows you to admire Lake Iseo in 360 degrees. This is an enchanting excursion that winds above Lake Iseo, offering spectacular views that embrace the lake's waters, the Camonica Valley and the majestic surrounding mountains. We start from Zone, a village on Lake Iseo where, with a little luck, we can have a good feast of blackberries! Half of the route is on a mule track, the other half on a path which, if it has rained, can be muddy (but not dangerous), so let's be prepared to get dirty and take a spare pair of shoes! The legend about the origin of the name tells that one day a stranger with a long overcoat came to Vello, he wanted to be ferried to Pisogne. Once at the foot of the Corno, the stranger took off his clothes and showed his true appearance: he was the devil himself. With only thirty steps the devil reached the top. Since then it took the name of "Corna Trentapassi". The walk does not present difficulties nor a great physical preparation, for this reason it is suitable for all those who can bear an hour of ascent. To park in the area it is mandatory to pay for the scratch card (3 euros) available in various affiliated premises.
