Corno Stella Hike in Val Brembana: Foppolo Trail to 2,620m Summit

We start from Foppolo, climbing through alpine pastures and glacial basins. First stop at Lago Moro: the view opens up over the upper valley here, and it's worth lingering a little longer. Then it's on toward the final ridge, all the way to the summit at 2,620 meters. From the top, your eyes sweep across the Orobie peaks, the lakes below, and on clear days, all the way to the Retiche Alps. The trail is varied but never too technical, for a total of 10 km and 950 meters of elevation gain.
