Description
The Ferrata Crench is one of the most enjoyable and scenic via ferratas in the Brescian Prealps, suspended above the blue waters of Lake Idro.
It starts from the small village of Crone, where a short approach through the woods quickly leads to the start of the via ferrata. From here begins a vertical and dynamic route, where rock, cables, and rungs alternate with sections of more natural climbing.
The via ferrata line follows a very scenic rock face that dominates the lake. During the ascent, the view continuously opens onto the Alto Garda Bresciano and the mountains of the Prealps, offering a truly unique sensation of exposure and freedom.
It is a complete via ferrata: technical but not extreme, athletic in some passages but always rewarding. Perfect for those who already have experience on via ferratas and want to experience a vertical day with spectacular views.
