We'll walk along the scenic ridges of Monte Torre and Monte Croce, the very battlefields of the Third Italian War of Independence. Along the way, we'll encounter significant landmarks, including the monument to the "Granatieri di Sardegna" and the historical "Cavalchina" farmhouse.
The tour's highlight is the Ossario di Custoza, a monument of national importance and an invaluable historical testimony. We'll visit this majestic ossuary, and from its balcony, you'll be treated to a breathtaking 360° panorama that sweeps across the surrounding landscape. You'll see everything from Monte Baldo and Lake Garda to the city of Verona, the Lessini Mountains, the Apennines, the Euganean Hills, and the Po Valley.
After our walk, we'll enjoy a delightful lunch at a typical local restaurant, where you can savor authentic dishes and, of course, a glass of the fresh and mineral-rich Custoza wine. The restaurant can accommodate any dietary need (the lunch is not included in the price).
