Discover the stunning Twin Lakes: A journey through alpine lakes and cozy mountain huts.

A complete and super panoramic trek in the heart of Val Brembana, together with the Guidders. We start from Carona and immerse ourselves in cool woods and water paths, climbing among alpine lakes nestled in the mountains. A route that offers wide landscapes, silences and an iconic destination: the Twin Lakes, perfect for a break with a view of the refuge.

From the village of Carona, in the province of Bergamo, we take a well-marked path that immediately enters a typically Alpine environment: shady woods, streams and glimpses of the valley.

The ascent is gradual but constant and accompanies us into one of the richest water areas of the Orobie Alps. Along the way we meet Lake Colombo, with its calm waters surrounded by grassy slopes, then Lake Becco and the charming Lake Marcio, each with a different character but all immersed in an authentic natural context.

As we climb, the panorama opens up more and more over the valley and the surrounding peaks, making this trek a perfect mix of nature, rhythm and discovery.

The final destination is the Twin Lakes, two large adjacent basins dominated by the refuge of the same name. Here we stop to relax, eat something and enjoy one of the most iconic views of the area before returning along the same path.
