Description
We're in a stunning valley dotted with small lakes. Lake Vacca, with its partially frozen surface shimmering in the sun, is a breathtaking sight you won't stop photographing. Embark on an adventurous trek at the foot of the Cornone di Blumone, starting from the Bazena parking area, famous as the starting point of the Adamello High Route No. 1. The route begins along a wide mule track leading to the Valfredda Pass (approx. 2 hours). From there, we cross over and follow a relatively flat path to the famous Vacca rock formation at the Vacca Pass (approx. 1 hour). Just a few hundred meters further on, we reach the lake's dam and the Tita Secchi mountain hut. This is an easy hike that doesn't require extensive preparation.
