Family Adventure in Val di Mello: two days of nature, camping, and waterfalls

Two days to slow down, play, explore, and experience the mountains through the eyes of the little ones. With the Guidders, we will set off to discover Val Masino and the wonderful Val di Mello, one of the most spectacular valleys in Lombardy, where woods, streams, waterfalls, and gigantic granite boulders become the perfect stage for a true family adventure.

On the first day, the fun Cyclops Trail awaits us, at the foot of the famous Sasso Remenno, the largest granite monolith in Europe. It will be a short route but full of excitement, among enormous granite blocks smoothed by glaciers millions of years ago. Children will feel like little explorers as they make their way through a real natural labyrinth, while adults will discover the geological history of this unique place. Although it is a family-friendly itinerary, some sections require attention and will be tackled together with the guides, who will make the experience even more engaging with fascinating facts and stories about the valley's formation.

In the afternoon, we will move to Ground Jack Camping, in the heart of Val di Mello, where we will pitch our tents and enjoy an evening outdoors filled with games, relaxation, and dinner together. Sleeping immersed in nature, listening to the sound of the stream and gazing at the starry sky, will be an unforgettable experience for both adults and children.

On Sunday, we will set off to discover the Val di Mello Waterfalls Loop, a simple and scenic itinerary that winds through woods, meadows, and wooden footbridges, offering wonderful views of crystal-clear waters and the spectacular granite walls that have made this valley famous all over the world. It will be a day dedicated to discovery, play, and the pleasure of spending time together, without rushing.
