Description
Where time stands still and nature tells its tale We are about to embark on an immersive experience amidst wild nature, breathtaking panoramas, and authentic hospitality. Our home for these four days will be the Rifugio Petina, nestled at the foot of the imposing Dolomite walls, in a remote and suspended corner of the Pale di San Martino, where silence is music, the sky seems closer, and the earth tells ancient stories. We are in the innermost heart of the Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino Natural Park, one of the most extraordinary corners of Trentino. A setting sculpted by time, between vertiginous ledges, immense alpine pastures, forests of red firs, and traces of the Great War. Ilaria and Mauro, mountain hut keepers with big hearts and skilled hands, will welcome us. They will gift us four days of sincere kindness, genuine cuisine, and true warmth. We will only put our backpacks on our shoulders, boots on our feet, and the desire to listen – truly – to the mountain. 📍 Where we are The Rifugio Peppina is located in a panoramic position on the Pale Plateau, reachable with a short climb from Malga Canali or from the valley floor of Val Pradidali. We are surrounded by vertical walls that turn golden at dawn and blaze at sunset: Cima Canali, Cima Wilma, Sass d'Ortiga, Cima Lastei... names that evoke pure beauty. Just a few steps from the refuge, itineraries of all kinds open up: gentle walks among the mountain huts, loop hikes with views of the Lagorai group, and more technical climbs for those who love to challenge themselves.

Elisa
Hi there! I'm Elisa, a certified hiking guide and a dreamer with boots on my feet. My passion for the mountains was born step by step, amidst trails, silence, and breathtaking views that speak to the soul. For me, hiking is much more than reaching a summit: it's about experiencing every step, being amazed by the details, breathing deeply, and rediscovering yourself in the simplicity of nature. Today, I lead other dreamers like myself — the Guidders — on hikes that deliver unforgettable moments, smiles, and that feeling of wonder that stays with you long after you return. If you too feel the call of the trails... let's hike together; the mountains have so much to share. 🌿💫
