Description

Nestled in the heart of one of the most beautiful valleys in the Orobie Alps, the Fratelli Calvi mountain hut is a hub connecting to all the major peaks of Val Brembana. Among these, the distinctive Diavolo di Tenda peak undoubtedly stands out as the most iconic mountain in the area. Our trek begins in Carona (Bergamo province), where we'll follow a trail through the woods, gradually ascending towards the Calvi hut. Prepare to be amazed by the stunning Orobie peaks reflected in the lakes surrounding the Rifugio. After a well-deserved lunch, we'll head back towards Carona, making sure to stop and admire the Val Sambuzza waterfall along the way.

From lab coats to hiking boots, the mountains are my happy place! During the week, I'm a pharmacist, dispensing prescriptions… but as soon as I have a free day, I'm off! Boots laced up, backpack on, and ready for a new trek! I love being outdoors, enjoying good company, and sharing my passion for the mountains, especially my beloved Presolana and Valseriana – but I'm always eager to explore new places! I'm all about feel-good hikes: days spent in nature, surrounded by stunning views, laughter, and maybe even a bit of a challenge. But don't worry... as a good pharmacist, I always have blister plasters and sunscreen handy! 😄 I can't wait to share new adventures with you: see you in the mountains!
