Gaver Plain: Bruffione Bivouac and its Sparkling Lakes
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Intermediate
Description
The Bruffione lakes are a small gem of the Gaver plain and are located a few kilometers from the border with Trentino, right at the Bruffione Pass (where the alpine bivouac of the same name is located). The Laghetti area is a true paradise for nature lovers. Our excursion includes a loop trail where we will first ascend to the bivouac, an enchanting place located at the pass of the same name where you can admire the mountainous area of the Brenta Dolomites on one side, and the Gaver area on the other. After exploring the surroundings, we will head down to the Bruffione lakes, where we will stop for lunch.
Afterwards, we will return to the cars through evocative woods and crossing various small bridges.
