Description

Three days of hiking in the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, along a circular route of حوالي 60 km that combines nature, history, and timeless villages. With the Guidders, we will set off from Campo Imperatore, crossing the vast Gran Sasso plateaus, the striking Scoppaturo Canyon, Castel del Monte, Rocca Calascio, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, and Barisciano, before closing the loop by returning to Fonte Cerreto. The route follows mountain trails and mule tracks, through high-altitude grasslands, beech forests, and panoramic ridges, with elevation gain spread across the three days. An itinerant trekking experience that requires good fitness, but rewards you with the true pleasure of walking, sharing every step with the Guidders community.

It’s not just a trek, but a slow journey through one of the most authentic corners of the Apennines. Each stage reveals a different side of Abruzzo: endless plateaus, medieval castles, ancient shepherds’ trails, and small villages where time seems to have stood still. It’s an experience to be enjoyed at the right pace, sharing effort, scenery, and emotions together with the Guidders.

You can arrange your own overnight stay the night before, coordinating with the group. One week beforehand, we will open the group chat to organize any carpooling and overnight stays.
