Description

If you're looking for an authentic trek in the Cottian Alps, the Cima Guglia Rossa from Valle Stretta is one of those experiences that Guidders love to share: a complete excursion that combines panorama, variety of trails, and summit satisfaction. We are in the heart of the Valle Stretta, above Bardonecchia (Turin, Piedmont), a stone's throw from the French border, where every step offers open views of wild mountains, pastures, and alpine huts.

The route winds through well-marked paths, steeper sections, and panoramic stretches that lead to the final ridge of the Guglia Rossa. Here the landscape changes: vegetation gives way to rock and the feeling of being truly in the high mountains. The panorama from the summit repays every effort, with a wide view of the surrounding peaks and the Valle Stretta.

It is a perfect excursion for those looking for a medium-difficulty trek with an interesting elevation gain, without entering extreme technical passages but still rewarding. Ideal for trained Guidders who want an intense but accessible day.

it's the classic trek that gives its best on clear days. If you really want to enjoy the view, choose a day with high visibility... and share it with other Guidders: the summit will be even more beautiful 💛
