A weekend that alternates fairytale forests, frozen lakes, and views of Cervino/Monte Rosa (Mont Avic) with the “wow” version of Val Ferret (view of Mont Blanc) up to the Bonatti Refuge. Perfect for Guidders who want two different but complementary days: Saturday more “magical and silent,” Sunday more “panoramic views and iconic refuge.”
Day 1 — Snowshoeing in the Mont Avic Park + transfer and night in Val Ferret
We enter the Mont Avic Park when winter gets serious: fir and larch trees covered in snow, muffled silence, open valleys and (conditions permitting) frozen lakes that seem to be placed there specifically for Guidders' group photos. It's a progressive snowshoe hike, never technical: the beauty is in the constant rhythm, the atmosphere, and the panoramas that gradually unfold. After the snowshoe hike, we move towards Courmayeur / Val Ferret: hot shower, dinner, laughter… and recharge your legs for the next day.
