Description
We will walk together along the Sentierone della Brianza, one of the most fascinating routes in the area: an ancient path that for centuries has connected rural villages, farmhouses and countryside, and which today offers a perfect balance between nature, history and surprising views.
A medium-length excursion, without technical difficulties, ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in the landscape at the right pace, letting themselves be guided step by step.
The Second Stage: panoramas, history and nature
We will start from the Olgiate Molgora railway station to climb towards Monte di Brianza, reaching places full of charm such as the Hermitage of San Genesio and the suggestive village of Campsirago.
Along the ridge we will walk on a continuous and panoramic path that offers a complete view of the Brianza: on one side the profile of the inhabited centers, on the other woods and natural areas that still preserve a precious ecological balance.
The Sentierone is not just a path: it is a true "green infrastructure", a natural corridor that connects traditional landscapes and protected areas, telling the most authentic soul of this territory.
The stage will end in Airuno, conveniently connected thanks to the railway station: a perfect, carefree ending to return in peace.
