Description
A simple, panoramic, and super Guider-friendly trek in the heart of Valcamonica
A hike that smells of woods, mountain huts, and Alpine tradition: the perfect route for those who love to walk without haste, enjoying every step and every view with the Guiders community.
We start from Paspardo, right next to the Wildlife Center, and set off along a wide and safe mule track, ideal for getting into the rhythm of the day. After a short, steeper stretch—just to warm up our legs—we reach the Colombè Refuge, overlooking the mountain of the same name: a natural terrace with a view of Valcamonica, perfect for our first "panoramic" break.
From here, the path becomes even more pleasant: the climb softens, the forest alternates with bright clearings, and the landscape opens up step by step. We cross the Zumella mountain pasture and small groups of huts immersed in greenery, silent and authentic places that tell the story of the mountains of yesteryear.
Our destination is the Volano De Marie Refuge, a quiet corner where the panorama widens and invites you to take a moment for yourself: breathe, slow down, and enjoy the privilege of being there, surrounded by nature and in the company of the Guiders.
