Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Difficult Plus
Description
A long, character-filled trek in the heart of Val Sambuzza, above Pagliari in the province of Bergamo, passing mountain huts, the Val Sambuzza Waterfall, the Baitone di Valle Sambuzza mountain refuge, and the shimmering waters of the Caldirolo Lakes and Lake Varobbio. With the Guidders, you’ll follow an alpine trail up to Pizzo Zerna, through pastures, scree fields, and steep high-altitude sections with T3 passages: good fitness, sure footing, and confidence on uneven terrain are essential. In return, you’ll be rewarded with vast views across the Orobie Alps, alpine lakes, and border ridgelines. 5 reasons - a true summit, far from ordinary - waterfall and lakes in one single hike - the valley’s authentic alpine setting - a varied trail with just the right technical challenge - a perfect day to share with the Guidders Here, the scenery is constantly changing pace: from the valley floor to the mountain huts, from cascading water to glacial basins, all the way to the final ridge of Pizzo Zerna.
