Description
A multi-day trek in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, designed for Guidders seeking an authentic, profound and immersive experience in Italy's wildest nature. Four days of walking through ancient beech forests, silent ridges and remote valleys, where time seems to slow down and every step reconnects you with the essential.
We start from Lecce nei Marsi to gradually enter the purest dimension of the PNALM, ascending towards the Ecorifugio La Cicerana, an isolated and extraordinary place at 1560 meters, surrounded by one of the most intact areas of the Park. Here, the presence of the Marsican brown bear is not just symbolic: we are truly in its habitat.
The trek continues into the Selva Moricento, one of the ancient beech forests recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site, where monumental trees and profound silences create an almost primeval atmosphere. Less travelled paths, stretches where the trail becomes faint, and a constant feeling of total immersion.
The crossing towards Pescasseroli is the most expansive and panoramic moment: a long day through woods and open spaces that leads towards the living heart of the Park. The journey concludes with Arteparco, an experience that combines nature and contemporary art in a surprising dialogue.
