Description

We are in Val Malene, at the foot of the imposing Cima d'Asta, in the central Lagorai mountains. The excursion begins near the small church of Val Malene, close to the campsite. We follow the course of the Grigno stream on a comfortable path through a magnificent forest. This excursion, very interesting from a geological and naturalistic point of view, allows you to discover an unknown corner of Val Malene. Through woods, streams and imposing waterfalls, in just over 2 hours we reach Malga Sorgazza where a tasty meal awaits us! Here you will find typical mountain cuisine, canederli (bread dumplings), venison, polenta, melted cheese, eggs and speck (cured ham)... and much more!

Guide

Alberto

Hi Guidders! 🧡 I’m an AIGAE-certified Environmental Hiking Guide and a CAI instructor. Although I was born on the plains, my heart has always belonged to the mountains. I’ve been exploring them since childhood, and today I guide others through their beauty in every season. I love sharing my passion through trekking, summit hikes, and bike tours, combining experience, safety, and a true spirit of adventure. To me, every outing is a chance to discover the landscape, learn something new, and experience nature with curiosity and respect. Beyond the mountains, I also love the sea, sailing, and cycling, because every journey is an opportunity to fill your eyes with wonder and return home with great memories… perhaps celebrating with a well-earned beer at the end of the day! 🍻 If you love adventure and want to experience the beauty of nature together with the Guidders community… I’ll see you on the trail! 🥾⛰️🚵
