Lavazei Experience: A High-Altitude Pasture Adventure

Description
A day on the alpine pasture... just like in the old days! 🐄🧀
An experience that has stayed in my heart since last summer and that I'm excited to offer again.
📍 We are at Alpeggio Lavazei, in Alta Val Sermenza, in collaboration with the Defilippi Marta farm.
⏰ We start at dawn, when the valley floor is still asleep. We will walk in the silence of the first light, immersed in the sounds of nature and the crisp morning air.
👣 After a two-hour walk, interspersed with moments of observation and reflection, we will reach the alpine pasture, where Marta will welcome us to show us how cheese is made and let us savor the simplicity of alpine life.
🔥 For lunch, polenta cooked on the stove and authentic cheeses, just like in the old days.
🥾 In the afternoon, we will set off again along a different path, completing a circular route through the breathtaking views of Val Sermenza, one of the wildest and most authentic valleys in Valsesia.
📌 The starting point will be the town of Rima, in the municipality of Alto Sermenza (VC), once the highest village in Piedmont, nestled between the mountains like a small alpine pearl. Among its stone and wood houses, the Walser tradition still lives on, and the silence that surrounds it makes it a truly magical place.
💚 An authentic immersion in mountain life, in contact with the people, rhythms and flavors of yesteryear.
To be experienced with the heart. And with all the senses.

Guide

Cristina
I chose to become a certified Hiking Guide for one specific reason: to inspire awe. For me, the mountains are a whirlwind of emotions and sensations... a place where all your senses come alive. Your heart beats more freely, your breath deepens... I believe there's a great need to awaken our wildest, most liberated selves. We all need it. Perhaps those who need it most are the ones who don't realize it. My aim isn't to lead large groups of people on hikes filled with historical, botanical, or geological lectures. No. I simply want to help people feel good for a few hours and awaken something within them. I want to share the respect and gratitude I feel for Nature. I want to let you listen to the silence. That silence that so many people aren't used to hearing... and within that silence, to perceive the subtle sounds. In that clean air, to smell the delicate fragrances. In that authentic light, to observe the fleeting details. I want to be a discreet guide, a reserved presence. Perhaps because I'm used to experiencing Nature this way, as a guest and a passerby.
