Description
Mount Legnoncino is one of the most fascinating destinations in the Upper Lario area because it offers an extraordinary reward for a moderate effort. We will ascend along the ancient military road of the Cadorna Line, a historic route that winds through tunnels and World War I outposts carved directly into the rock.
Once we reach the summit, we will find ourselves on a natural balcony with a breathtaking 360-degree view that ranges from the imposing peaks of the Alps and Valtellina to dominating the entire Lake Como. The greatest spectacle will be the sunset: we will see the sun slowly descend behind the mountains of the Como shore, coloring the sky and water with incredible hues.
After enjoying this moment of peace on top of the mountain, we will descend with headlamps to end the evening in style. A convivial dinner awaits us at the Rifugio Roccoli Lorla, where we can warm up and spend time together over a good plate of polenta and local specialties, ending the day in the best possible way.
