Little Croda Rossa Peak in the heart of the Fanes-Senes-Braies and Ampezzo Nature Park
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Difficult
Description
The hike starts from Rifugio Malga Ra Stua, in the Dolomiti d’Ampezzo Natural Park, for a trek climbing toward Piccola Croda Rossa above Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno, Veneto. With Guidders, we cross mountain trails, scree slopes, steep sections, and unstable terrain up to the summit at حوالي 2,859 m: wide-open views over the Dolomiti d’Ampezzo and a true high-altitude atmosphere. This excursion is for those with a strong pace and experience with elevation gain; there are sustained inclines, uneven ground, and possible challenges due to loose rocks and exposed trail sections. Indicative data. 5 reasons - easy departure from Ra Stua - iconic and panoramic Dolomite summit - wild setting in the heart of the Ampezzo valley - varied trail through sparse woodland, gravel, and high altitude - shared experience with motivated Guidders This hike is special because it combines the energy of a real climb with the stark beauty of Remeda Rossa, without anything artificial: just trail, breath, rock, and the genuine satisfaction of reaching the summit together.

Alessandro
⛰ Hi there! I’m Alessandro. I’m 34 years old and live in the heart of the Dolomites, in the Cadore region. I am a certified International Mountain Leader (accredited by the Veneto Mountain Guide Association and UIMLA), a graduate in Sports Science, a mountain bike guide, and—believe it or not—a sommelier! After all, there’s nothing like a good glass of wine after a long hike. I love experiencing the mountains in every way possible: from trekking and trail running to mountain bike adventures. For me, moving through nature is pure energy, discovery, and emotion. Sharing this passion with others is my mission. Whether we are on a scenic trail or riding through the woods on two wheels, my goal is always the same: to provide authentic, active, and restorative experiences. See you on the trails… or maybe over a great glass of wine! 🍷🚵♂️🌲
