Description
In Valsassina, above Margno, there's an enchanted plateau at 1,450 m: Pian delle Betulle. You can reach it by cable car or with a peaceful walk through the woods.
From Pian delle Betulle, reached via a gentle path, the steeper section towards Cima del Laghetto begins. In about 2 km, we'll conquer the summit and a breathtaking panorama. We'll then continue towards Cimone di Margno, gentler but just as spectacular.
At the top, your gaze embraces Grignone, Legnone, and Pizzo Tre Signori. For the return, we'll follow the panoramic ridge to the burnt larch and take the forest road that leads back to Pian delle Betulle. A circular route that combines nature, relaxation, and adventure, in one of the most beautiful areas of Valsassina.
It's a perfect trek for families and beginners, but also for those who want to pick up the pace a bit to the nearby peaks and discover new destinations!
