Macherio Hut – High-Altitude Panoramas in the Tredenus Basin
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Difficult
Description
"The Macherio Bivouac, perched at an altitude of 2590 meters, is a hidden gem suspended on a rocky spur, overlooking some of the most spectacular panoramic views of the Camonica Valley Alps. The hike winds through the Tredenus basin, a stark and authentic landscape dominated by imposing peaks and the silence of the mountains. Climbing to this point means leaving civilization behind and immersing yourself in the power of nature, where every step takes you closer to the sky. From the bivouac's natural terrace, a magnificent vista unfolds, showcasing Pizzo Badile Camuno, Concarena, and Corni di Tredenus in a dramatic interplay of ridges and profiles seemingly carved from granite. On our return, we'll enjoy a revitalizing break at the De Marie al Volano Refuge."

Alessio
From Vesuvius to Adamello, I'm always ready to hit the trail! Born in Naples, I've called Brescia home for years, where I find my happy place amongst the rocks and mountain paths every weekend. I love all kinds of hikes: from easygoing strolls to challenging treks for experienced hikers. My hiking journal is already packed with adventures... but I still have so many pages to fill with new trail buddies! I know the trails of Valtrompia like the back of my hand, and I have a real soft spot for the Adamello Natural Park, a corner of the world that never ceases to amaze me. 🎒 If you love hiking with a smile and want to be part of a close-knit group... then we'll get along great. See you on the trail, Guidders!
