Madonna della Corona: The Sanctuary Clinging to the Rock

Whether you are a believer or not, this excursion is sure to be fascinating! Step by step, little by little, with a few short breaks here and there, we climb the more than 1500 (or even 1700) steps that lead us from Brentino Belluno to the Sanctuary. The church is located 775 meters above sea level and is famous for being set in the rock face. The walk is characterized by steps only, except for short stretches of path, with 12 stations of the cross. The path is suitable for everyone, the important thing is to be prepared for these steps. Depending on your pace, the journey time to complete the section relating to the Stations of the Cross is approximately 1.30 hours. The parking for the excursion is paid by the hour, there are parking meters just near the rest area.
