Monscera Loop: Snowshoeing Adventure on the Border in the Bognanco Valley
Guiddy Difficulty Levels
Easy
Description
The Bognanco Valley is a surprising valley in every season, but in winter it offers an even more authentic and silent atmosphere. The Monscera Ring is one of the most fascinating snowshoe hikes in the area: a complete itinerary that leads to the border with Switzerland, immersed in an open and luminous alpine environment.
With snowshoes on our feet, we will walk through snow-covered forests, solitary alpine pastures and wide valleys, following a path that is always scenic and never monotonous. The ascent is progressive and well distributed, ideal for experiencing winter at the right pace, savoring every step on the snow. Once in the Monscera area, the view opens onto wide and wild horizons, where the border mountain shows its purest face.
A perfect excursion for Guidders looking for real snow, open landscapes and little-traveled routes, to be enjoyed in company and with the right spirit of adventure ⛰️🧡
