Description
A complete and scenic trek above Borno, from the Croce di Salven to the summit of Monte Altissimo, passing through the wild Val Sorda. With the Guidders, we will follow trails 186 and 187 through cool forests, the clearings of Pratolungo, and the authentic atmosphere of Malga Guccione. The path alternates between stretches in the woods and steeper ascents up to the open ridges, where the view expands over Pizzo Camino, Cima Moren, and the entire Valle Camonica. This is an E-rated (hiking) excursion with a steady elevation gain and some steep sections; it requires good fitness but rewards you with a truly satisfying summit.
The variety of the route: from the wild Val Sorda to the open ridges of Monte Altissimo, in a constant change of scenery and panoramas.
