Starting from the city, the route ascends along the Alta Via delle Grigne, a path that is sometimes exposed, fun, and never predictable, offering spectacular views of Lake Lecco and the entire eastern branch of Lake Como. The ascent to Mount Coltignone is continuous and challenging, but extremely rewarding: rocky passages, technical sections, and open panoramas make this itinerary a true training ground for those who love characterful treks.
